Another new shooting cap....

You boys know how I love my hats. Well here's another one that Barry Simonds worked up for me. Made from WW2 style herringbone twill, vintage leather strap and buckle on the back, lined with a duck printed bandana. Anybody wants his contact info just ask.

Destroy if you could send me the contact information I would appreciate it very much.

Destry,
Did you surrender that old Jones cap to the Superfund ? |
No way! It's just in semi retirement I'm sad to say. It's finally begun to come apart, so I'm only wearing it on special occasions. Maybe tomorrow! Opening day in Ontario after all......

Clothing seems to be most comfortable right before and during the time it comes apart.

That hat had been comfortable for about 30 years. I think my Dad got a good deal, seems like he paid the glorious sum of $4 for it when I was 12.
|
I inherited some khaki pants that had belonged to my grandfather. They were comfortable for about 10 years before they died
|
I've got my grandfathers overalls, work coat, and hunting vest. Unfortunately he was about 5 foot 7 inches and maybe 130 pounds. They look real good hanging on the hook in my gun room......

My Dad's canvas hunting coat died when I was a youngster, but I still have his Jones hat, probably from the mid twenties. Unfortunately, it is about five sizes smaller than what I need.
