I share Mark's loyalty indecision. I am a life member of both the Fox and Parker organizations and collect and shoot both marques. My Fox collection is heavily weighted to full chokes, in fact all my Fox bores are choked full.

Just for giggles Mark, bring along one of your SF to the next shoot and let's see if I can either embarrass myself or the rest of you. I'm betting it will be me. But, I agree with Bill. I really like both makers and most of my guns are 30 or 32" and they tend to be on the tight side. By the way thanks for the compliment. Too bad Fox did'nt make a 10 because I've never seen anyone handle a big 10 better than you on the clays course.

Mark,
I have a couple of 16 gauge Fox Sterlingworths and love them too. Great guns.

The official rules for the 2013 Fox/Parker Challenge Cup are as follows:

‘The Challenge’ will be run as a concurrent to The American Classics Event, a 50 target course which can be shot on either Friday or Saturday (or both), Sept. 27 & 28th. All Vintager shooting rules apply. Competitors are advised to pre-register for this event on The Vintage Cup shooter registration form, however on-site sign-up will also be available in the Addieville club house.

The TOP Five scores (one per shooter) from each organization will be tallied to determine the winning team. Winning team members and their respective scores will be engraved on FPC Cup trophy.

New rules in effect for 2013:

1) An FPC Cup competitor can shoot as many rounds of The American Classics Event as he/she chooses. Their top score will be used for the team tally.

2) In an effort to promote fairness, integrity and above all, good sportsmanship throughout both of these esteemed organizations: all shooters must be active members in good standing of either the AHFCA or PGCA (or both) as of Sept. 1st, 2013 in order to participate.

IMPORTANT---All shooters must turn- in their score cards to the Fox/Parker registration table before returning them to the Vintage Cup Office. Shooting ends promptly at 4 PM on Saturday in order that Fox/Parker judges can tabulate scores and notify the winning team prior to the 5 pm ESPN press conference and reception.

We sincerely hope the 2013 FPC Cup will be one for the record books. See you
at Addieville East!! Safe travels.

Warmest regards,

Your AHFCA/PGCA BOD’s

Thanks Steve,
I will bring a couple of laminated copies of the rules to put on the tables so that those that do not see this post will be aware.
