Looks like a Parodox! Just makes you wonder it it went to Africa. Some of the Jungle guns had rifling the last 4" or so. Others had rifling that ran straight from the chamber until the last 2 1/2 or 3"s then took a twist. How is the rifling in this gun?

My thanks to all..I will send pics as soon as I get back from Del Greco...
The gun now wears the PG stock that was put on gun in 1917 according to Parker records. I have the original stock as well that was on gun in 1912 when it was shipped. The original stock also has a cheek piece on it? No record of this in the letter. No safety on gun..concave rib. What do you suppose,a live bird shooter or a trap shooter was original owner? |

Very interesting. Is the rifled set rifled for the full length of the bores or just in the last four or five inches at the muzzles which would be the choke section on barrels bored for shot?
