For testing purposes, everything was precisely weighted.

In practice, shot and powder are volumetrically metered using the appropriate MEC charge bar and bushing.

I’m like you when I first started loading Bismith I weighed each load , now I just drop it as I would lead shot .

No it isn’t ! There’s WSF and there’s also WST . As stated WSF is Winchester Super Field and WST is Winchester Super Target . There’s also a WSH Winchester Super Handicap . I took pics of WST and WSH but sorry to say all my WSF is in at the shop .

Rob:

You are welcome. This is still my go-to load for 10 gauge. I use 24 grains of WSF and 1.25 ounces of shot (lead or bismuth, depending on the target). Smokes clays and kills ducks dead.

I’ve got 8 plus pounds of WSF . Was using it for 16 gauge , but since I e just about quit shooting the 16’s now I think I’ll try some of your WSF 26 grains with 1 1/4 ounces of shot . And just so happens I have a fair amount of fired 10 gauge hulls both green Remington’s as well as red RST/Cheddites . Perhaps a box of each .

Craig:

Start with 24 grains. I think you will find 26 grains a bit too spicy (high velocity).

Well I thought that as well after making my post . I took screenshots of all three pressure test sheets . I’ve gotten a pretty decent number of 1 1/4 ounce loads , several 1 1/8 ounce loads , a couple ounce loads and one 1 1/2 ounce load . Seems SR7625 , Unique , Red Dot , Green Dot , WSF , W572 and Universal Clays all fit in , in atleast one weight range and some several weight ranges .
