Mark,
those 7/8oz loads I posted were from your post on the 16 ga forum a few weeks ago. When I saw them, I immeadiately printed them off, as they fit well with what I am trying to load. I will use them as I have been able to pick up a few lbs each of PB and 7625. I am saving my couple pounds of Green Dot for 3/4 oz 20 ga loads. Those Nice shot loads will be filed just in case I ever need to shoot non-tox loads thru the old doubles. Thanks for posting the info for the rest of us.

Who am I to counter such sage wisdom. Then again, if you visit the Alliant Powder website, you will find this description for Red Dot:
"Principal Purpose: Light and standard 12 & 16 ga. target loads" Then there's this load from the 16 Ga Forum: WW 16 Poly 1 oz. Red Dot 15 Win 209 Rem R-16 1165 10,400 Hercules Or these: WW CF 1 oz. Red Dot 15 27 Win 209 Rem R-16 1165 10,900 Hercules WW CF 1 oz. Red Dot 16.5 30 Win 209 Rem R-16 1165 9,700 HSR WW CF 1 oz. Red Dot 17.5 32 CCI 109 Rem R-16 1210 9,500 Lyman 3rd Or this: Fed 16 Plas 1 oz. Red Dot 16.0 Fed 209 Rem R 16 1165 9,700 Hercules Thus I apologize for offering a 3/4 oz load that must be ill advised. And retire from this thread. |

Those Red dot loads you posted above are old loads that where more than likely measured LUP not PSI . I am sure of it on the 3rd Lyman load , because I looked it up in my book . |
