You may, or may not, be correct here. But that's beside the point. I ought to have Armbrust test my Red Dot load to be sure of things. But I'm willing to bet that it's very close to the stats on your 14 gr Green Dot load, however...

John you may be right, I am sure it is great light load . I would like to see the data. My guess is going to be 8500 psi plus .

I do have some Red Dot data for a 7/8oz load in the Rem hull using 13.3 gr RD and pressure is around 11300 psi . In a straight walled hull and using 3/4 oz pressures should be a lot lower , I don't think it will be below 6000 psi . but I have been wrong before . Ask Tom he should be able to give you close to what it will be.

In sub 12 gauge loads, Red Dot is unacceptable for "low pressure" loads, even if the shot load is light. I recommend that those who are making their own loads study the "burn rate" chart before they make up loads. Red Dot is for big holes, light shot loads, and strong guns.
