Default 28 guage

Hello!
I have a 28 guage Parker that belonged to my great-grandfather. I am having some difficulty determining the grade and thought I may find some help here.
Would also appreciate any other information about the gun...history, value, etc.
I have attached some photos that I hope will help.

Thanks!

Bill,
Welcome to the PGCA website. As Steve said you have a very nice and very valuable Parker. You should learn all you can about it and you have come to the right place.

Bill, your GHE was made in 1919,#187579 not listed in the serial number book, as long as the barrel is uncut the gun is worth a good amount, it has a oo frame and straight grip, what a great grouse and woodcock gun, you have a real nice gun, good luck with it.

This is a wonderful gun. If you are a shooter, you have a rare treasure. If not, I would expect the value on this gun would be considerably north of $15,000. Especially at auction.

Best, Kensal

I think you have 1 of 64 28 gauge Ghe guns made according to the Parker Story pg. 279 .

That is a bit more than I thought it would be! I was thinking around $7500, but again, I suspected grade 2 but wasnt sure. I don't hunt much anymore, but it it is nice to have.
Thank you for your help!!
