I am one of those people who was brought up to believe the government was protecting the interests of the people it represented. After the reign of the Clintons I began to see things differently. I won't revolt or do anything stupid but I no longer trust the government in any form or on either side of the aisle. I see the House of Representatives balance the budget but then the Senate, lead by Harry Reid, simply doesn't bring up the bill so it can be voted on. How does one man have the power to simply say the bill will not come up for a vote? Both sides say they want to stop spending but yet nobody stops spending. When unemployment is probably our biggest problem I have yet to hear President Obama speak of doing anything to grow the employment numbers in America. I hope I am wrong but my belief is there will be rioting in the streets just like in Greece and then the President will step in with martial law to take over the country. Always remember, don't watch what they say. Watch what they do.

Dennis,

I left the M-16A2 with the Corps when I retired a decade and a half ago. Because of this idiocy over assault rifles I may just buy an AR-15 and a half dozen magazines just because I can.

Semper Fi,
Mark
