My uncle mike has Downs, he's sharp as a whip. When my grand parents passed my Dad took on the responsibility of caring for Mike. They were having a go around about Mike putting on clean underwear every day, and every day Mike put on his old underwear and Dad would find the clean ones in in the bathroom. After my Dad explained to Mike he NEEDED to put on clean underwear every day, he agreed. For a week, no clean underwear in the bathroom, but on laundry day there were no dirty ones in the hamper either. Turned out that every day Mike would put on the first days underwear first, then the next days, then the next so at the end of the work week he had on 5 pairs. Mike's a man of his word, he put on clean underwear every day.
