Yes, the shooting was great and it is convenient to the Dallas- FT Worth area.

We did forget to mention their clay target set up though. On the north side of the lodge is a sporting clays course and a 5 stand setup; on the south side, over looking the valley, is a two trap wobble trap facility with a shooter on each side of the trapper. The first clay goes out high and on report, the second clay goes out low and is often difficult to pick up sailing out just above the trees on the steep down slope into the valley.
After we arrived and checked in on Sunday afternoon, we warmed up on the wobble traps. This was fun and hitting doubles was challenging, but good practice if a bit humbling. It was interesting that the whitetail deer browsing on the valley floor below totally ignored the shooting. The wobble trap stand is to the far right of the roofed pavillion in the picture below; a very picturesque place to practice.
