Great photo, James. It never ceases to amaze me how perfectly camoflaged the woodcock's plumage truly is. Having moved from New England to Idaho 25 years ago, the two game species I miss are woodcock and gray squirrels.

just missing woodcock here - I never shoot at squirrels
