This is my first post on the forum. I have begun repair/restore on another beautiful old Parker. I have built many rifles but only last year started working on shotguns. I have built custom stocks for many years for love and learning for myself and some of my closest friends. A Parker shotgun rapidly becomes your first love when looked at for it's machining and woodwork. An amazing tool that brings back a longing for the old "American" way of doing things. I have begun repairs to an 1892 Parker GH that has seen some less than gentle handling. The wear plate may need some enhancement but I am analyzing the issues for a while. This will be a labor of love.
