new owner
I am new to the Parker World, All I know about the guns hsitory is that it has been in the family scine shortly after the Civil War. I think the serial number is either 1867 or 3867 (it is hard to read), the pat. date is Nov 18th or 16th 1867 and then there is anouther date of 1867. It is a hammered under lifter with Damascas barrels. When I open the barrels I can see one mark on the side of the tang "E9R". Can anyone give any info of this gun? What and where should I be looking to figure out when this gun was made and how much I should insure it for?
