From a Parker point of view there is no practical difference between Twist and Plain Twist. Nomenclature as well as suppliers changed over the years. Stub Twist is another catagory and was (is) thought to be a little better barrel than the others.

What's the symbol for plain twist & twist (as indicated on the receiver) ?

Are both represented by the "T" with the semi-circles above & below it ?

Yes John thats it. There is no seperate designation for "stub twist"
