I only have one thing to say about all this! I would rather hold a book in my hand, at least I can read and enjoy when the internet is down! Books are like Parkers, made to use and hold!

agreed -I love books - and the library floor is sagging from the weight - I still find few titles to add each month, unfortunately few are newly published.

Shooting Sportsman's e-mag drives me crazy, and although I bought the electronic version of the late Tony Treadwell's restoration book to not miss out on the information, I am still hoping that his wife can complete the hardcover publishing deal.

as I said the current plan is to add a copy of the serial number book to the other stuff i keep in the truck

having said all that , if the basic serial number search was availalble on the phone- i would use it. You won't find me wth an e-reader on a beach, but you could find me on the phone with my hand on a Parker in a rack.
