I've always assumed that the NSFL gun were all serial numbered for the 100 gun special run for them.

I owned an NSFL 28ga repro that was two barrel set with double triggers. It was serial # 28-4 The other NSFL guns I've seen have similar low numbers as well.

It's beginning to appear that we are seeing NSFL guns serial numbered at least three different ways. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

1. With both a traditional SN (gauge, hyphen and five digits) and gauge-XX. Like the gun in the subject of this thread.

2. Just gauge-XX. Like Kenny's 12-gauge #12-96 or Paul's 28-gauge #28-4.

3. Traditional SN (gauge, hyphen and five digits). Like this bi-gauge set.
