Just putting away some magazines and took a look through the spring 2012 Parker Pages.

It says the 55845 is the earliest reported Hammerless Parker, right in front of that it states that 55314 - is an EH 10 gauge, and is 23 numbers before the first hammerless.

So a stupid question- if I understand this correctly - according to the book or factory records 55337 was the first hammerless Parker made - but where abouts is unknown - at least to this group? And that is why 55845 is the earliest "reported" hamerless Parker??
