Hi Ron, I can tell you that the first guns we made were the 20 guage, The first 25 or so were test guns or Prototypes. The number went guage first - then number. We made 250 with PRO in the serial number.. The second order went to regular number system. If you have the serial number of the gun you are looking at I will see if I can find out when it was made. Hope this helps
