how can i tell if the stock has been cut-off or modified on this gun? There is no butt plate on the end..it always just had a shoulder pad slipped on.

ok, i will...i am suspect since the butt plate is missing...let me try to get some photos on here...thanks.

Larry - 3 fours? Never heard of such a thing. We had 6 Stromberg 97's on our B Gasser '38 Chevy

I think somewhere, somebody got off track....this was my grandaddy's gun, he bought it new..it was made in 1920...it was the first gun i ever shot or hunted with. When he died in 1978, he left me the 1963 chevy impala... i traded my uncle...who got the parker, back then...even up..
