I think just based on sentimental value alone you are way ahead with that trade.

My 62 Impala had a 327 with solid lifters, 4.56 rear end, Hooker headers, and did I mention three four barrel carburetors. With the Mickey Thompsons on it was hard to keep the front end on the ground. One day I will tell you about the 64.

Believe me, the Parker has been kept indoors....i have not shot that gun in 20 years!
