Susan Sturdevant, Dick's daughter, provided me with much of the research material I use to investigate the shooting records of early twentieth century shooters.

I just got a set of two books. If anyone is interested in one, let me know.

Murph, I was fortunate to obtain a few interesting items from Dick's collection as well... The early photo in the beginning of his book where Dick is standing next to his father as a young boy holding a Parker single barrel trap would be a great image to consider for future display on the PGCA home page... Perhaps Susan would grant us permission to do so. Just a suggestion... ![]() Best, CSL ___________________________ . |

Thanks for all the information on Al. You guys sure know Parker history. Thanks too for all the offers to buy the gun. It really wasn't for sale but the one was too good to pass up and the gun is now sold.

I would have paid more. At least I won't be accused of using my PM to buy guns. (not that there is anything wrong with that). Congratulations to the new owner. I may even know who you are.
