The lack of the Parker Bros. Engraving on the frame sides would hint at Remington production, but the 16g. Box says Meriden on it. Were these Remington guns? Did the Remington Trojans have Parker on the bottom like the other grades?

Beautiful Guns! Thanks for sharing.

The very latest Trojans had the "PARKER" marking on the bottom of the receiver. They are a fairly scarce item. As for the box marked "Meriden", most Remington Parkers were made in Meriden. Parkers in the serial number range of the 16 in the box were made in Meriden. Some were not sold until the move to Ilion.
