Rem Parker and later Parker guns were proofed at 15,500 psi with a service load of 10,500, which was the SAAMI max (Small Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute).
Parker intended your 1/2 frame 12ga for 2 3/4" 1 1/8oz at 3 drams, or 1200fps.
Yes you can shoot 1 1/4oz loads, might be a little harsh on your shoulder with a light gun.
