Well must of been weather. There wasen't any chicks at harvest to speak of. We had a lot of old birds at one point but they seem to died. This time of year I count phesents on the way back to town in the evening just for fun lot of times double digets and its only 6 miles. This year I don't even see one every day. I'm just going to let my boy shoot a few don't know how many i'm going to kill gotta to leave some seed. I think they need to lower the limit. Chickens and Quail seem to faired better. I'm lookin into buying some Quail to train my dog with. When I was drilling wheat I grease in the morning my dog hunts all the time I'm stoped I seen him flush 1 bird.
