Over many years I've tried many different brands of gloves; Orvis included. I discovered the absolute best shooting glove when attending SHOT Show a few years back. The brand is GripSwell and comes in several options. The one I like is the SxS Palm Combo. They are of American manufacture; extremely well made and the left hand glove in my case since I'm a right handed shooter, is leather lined so when faced with continuous shooting the heat from the barrels isn't felt. They make them in all sizes and offer two or three different colors. They seem to last for years and provide good warmth even during the coldest weather.
