If a collector or shooter wants to have a factory SC repro the upset muzzles are how it was engineered. The system is funktional and not ugly. When shooting the muzzles are not seen anyway. Yes brily thin walls may have been a better system cosmeticly? After the fact we must except the repro's the way they are and be happy they exist! If the bulg bugs some folks (purists) thats O.K., you can collect one or all of the fixed choke combo's they offered or just buy a original Parker.
