We were in Karlas last night......and the night prior .....
Not much else to do in Wood!

62 eh, population still going down. Hard to believe anyone would ever leave Wood. Come to think of it why would anyone move to Wood

Seriously though those are some great folks and I really like that prairie country. Not sure I want to live there though.

Hunted very close to Wood and some nearby villages (Presho, Murdo, Vivian, White River) in the early 2000s and again in 2016, The sharptails were a real bonus in the few areas we found them while out chasing pheasants. Regal birds and probably my favorite plains game

First bird fell at about 25 to 30 yards
Second Bird was a bit longer. Here is pic of guide fetching it up on my Mark.
I will get some additional pics of the .410. When I get it unpacked.
