To be honest, I have not, we have a copy of "Cold Mountain". A lot of folks say "Thirteen Moons" is a better read. I think anytime a fiction writer, writing from a particular locale, using his literary liscense, causes some readers to judge their view of realism pretty harshly. That view may be correct either. All in all Frazier has left a positive mark in our area....truth reall is, life was tough in those days in our mountains.
