Default ISO 16 ga O frame lefts side hammer

Was having issues with my shotgun locking up after firing and realized that the striker on the left side hammer was blunted and presumably getting jambed up somehow. I disassembled and through some redneck engineering I was able to reprofile the striker and get the gun running again.

I figure it's a matter of time before I need another one. Anyone out there have a hammer for a 1905 16ga 0 frame?

If you were able to clean up that one, it likely will continue to serve you just fine.

I likely have a couple 0 frame hammers on hand. But I really would prefer to have your original hammer to be able to match up one to in order to make sure that it will work for you.

I was able to clean it up but I didn't 100% get the profile right to have it centered. Also had to work on it a bit to keep it from rupturing primers. I don't think it's a long term solution.

Are you suggesting that I could send it to you and you might be able to find a match?

Yes, I have a half a dozen or so left hammers in my parts bins labeled as 1/0 frame size. But they look a little different from each other. I would not want to just send you one without knowing it is a good match.

Yeah I appreciate that. I bought one off eBay that didn't fit. My best guess was it was for a one frame as it was slightly larger. Okay I might get this thing stripped down and send it to you?
