I have about half the strength in my arm now so it makes it difficult to heft it up and get it swinging. I’m working on strengthening my other shoulder muscles, but the two I lost served a particular range of motion and that is where I’m lacking. I can still shoot it by not very well.
I saw that you also have a really nice 36 inch GH grade 8ga. What does yours weigh in at?
Sorry to hear about your shoulder problems. My GH weighs 13lbs 4oz. I shot it a week ago in the cold and had a big smile on my face. My hope is we can keep this obsolete gauge going in the future. We have a group of 10-12 mostly Parker 8ga shooters at the Southern, Hausmann's and Mike's. It was very nice of the PGCA to sponsor the Southern 8ga event.
