IsWhen my dad passed away (ALS) at 54, my older brother who doesn't shoot inherited dad's 16 ga VH. I basically grew up shooting grouse and woodcock and native pheasants in the Neponsett meadows with this 16. Anyway my brother wouldn't give me the gun, I'd have to buy it from him. Really pissed me off but that's the kind of guy he us. Anyway I bought it as it had many good memories and I wanted to keep it in the family. My grandson will inherit it. when I pass and while logan doesn't shoot clays he's one heck of a bird shooter so I know it will be put to continued good use. Years agoi had Larry DelGrego fully restore it as by then it was pretty beaten up from all the good use. Got to keep these old Parkers in the family.
