I think I've sorted my wad problem. I'll test them tomorrow to see if they spread more.

Those Scouts are nice little hunting rifles. In the early 60s I had a Remington Model 600 in .243. It was my cayote rifle. They also made them in 222 and 308. The 308 was a pre-Scout rifle, Scout rifle. It was a small carbine. Today they are expensive. They cost, at the time, $89. Then came the 788. Another outstanding, but simple rifle.
