Are there records available as to who owned the gun?

Hello Glenn - There are surviving factory records upon which to base a PGCA Research Letter. But it may not mention the first owner's name - more likely the letter will indicate where the gun was sent (Sporting goods store) or something along those lines. It may even mention the name or the person or entity than ordered the gun.

A research letter will cost you, as a forum associate, $100. if you join the PGCA an an annual member for $40 the letter will cost you an additional $40. So, in the end if you become a member you will save $20.
