Default Hull Trimmer?

I just acquired a 10 gauge 2 7/8" Francotte SxS and will need to load for it. I plan to use Cheditte hulls and primers. Ballistic Products has primed hulls in 3 1/2" that need to be trimmed. I plan to fold crimp. I understand there are homemade trimmers, but I like the ease of use and convenience of the commercial made ones. Has anyone used the ones below? The Creative has to be special ordered to cut 2 7/8", but it makes a very clean square cut. The pilot rides in the spent primer flash hole, which is a problem with already primed hulls. The GAEP can cut 2 7/8" and the barrel is interchangeable with all gauges. The cut is not as nice as the Creative and I've read doesn't work as good with tapered hulls, which isn't a problem with Cheditte.

Nope never used either originally I used a jig I made from a piece of oak and cut them on a bandsaw . It works well enough and quick although they have a bit of a frayed look . Two or three years ago a friend made me one that works excellently with the chedderite hulls . The hull in the picture was cut earlier so there was no trimmed piece to show and had no uncut hulls . FWIW I also tried this cutter on new REM hulls and it worked but just a little more effort involved as the REM hulls are a touch thicker .

The spin and trim from ballistic products is unbelievable. It is crazy easy to use and very accurate.

I tried several commercial trimmers over the years, then purchased several from Creative Solutions.
The easiest to use I believe are the Creative Solutions trimmers.

I found these 3D printed hull trimmers on Ebay and thought I'd give them a try. They have worked out amazingly well! They use standard razor blades and cut square, fast and easy. I thought about the Creative Reloading Solutions, but the custom blades and cost was holding me back. I've bought several 3D printed reloading parts and have been very impressed. I've got a 3D printed case feeder for my Hornady LNL Progressive and it was a fraction of the cost of an OEM.

Here are some trimmers that can be adjusted to cut down to any of the popular shell lengths.https://3dreloadingandmore.shop/prod...-hull-trimmers

James, That's a pretty neat little gizmo, and it won't break the bank.
