I also love sweet corn and usually grow eight rows. I end up giving most of it away, but the friends I’ve made by giving away the corn is definitely worth it

I grow a variety of yellow supersweet called Moonshine.

I’m with Phil there’s nothing better than shucking corn while having a beer.

Around here we try to have a pot of water boiling before I pick it! I’ll have to try the grill method -I’ve had it that way but never done it myself

We normally have a lot of extra and my wife and I will spend a couple days cutting it off and freezing.

Definitely an indicator of a good summer

I usually run a high and low strand of electric to keep the coons and deer out as best as I can
