There were five 20 gauge Parker SBT’s produced.

I will try to dig out the serial numbers of the five. I thought they were in this thread but they are not. The outing of this gun happened many years ago when the original (I think) owner wrote to Remington inquiring about the history of the gun. Dick Baldwin replied to him with a very vague reply. Years ago, Dick gave me his file of letters about Parkers sent by many owners over the years. Dick was the unofficial Parker historian at Remington when he was employed there. I met Frank Halsey at a Vintagers event years ago. He shared a dinner with Linda and me and we discussed Parker trap guns. We were competitive bidders when the 34" 20 SC came to auction some time later. I shared my Dick Baldwin information with Frank when I found out he had outbid me. Frank used our shared information to write a story in the Parker Pages. On Frank's death, the gun came to auction again, and, this time I bid successfully.

The serial numbers of the five 20 gauge Parker singles are 230,229, 26", 234,290, 30", 235,227, 28" according to the Serialization Book, and 178,050, 34". 236,019 is a B Grade (again according to the Serialization Book). Two or more have Colonel Cutts connections, probably experimental guns for his Cutts Compensator. 178,050 is the only one with order book provenance.

Bill,
My Serialization book shows 235727 as a "J H 0 P 12 28". Please clarify the serial number information you have. Thanks.

Sorry, it's 235,227, 28". I corrected my original post.

So that gun (235227) is actually an "S4" instead of "A4". And it has a straight grip? Thanks for the update; I made note in my Serialization book.
