i am fairly new to the shooting sports . I bought a 725 Browning Citori last year in 20 Gauge to get started down the path. I haven't kept all the #'s on my shooting but dang if I dont shoot the 100 year old 12 gauge SC better at trap. maybe its all in my mind.. Skeet seems ok with 20 gauge. From my limited experience I can see why they would not have sold a lot of 20 gauge SBT. that said - sounds like a cool rare gun!

A 20 gauge in trap is definitely an unnecessary handicap but I agree, very cool gun.

As to the 20 gauge Parker SBT, I have to admit I’d love to own one. Not sure what I’d do with it.

Clarence and I account for three of the five 20 gauge SC guns. Who will outlive whom? It doesn't make any difference because we don't have a "survivorship" contract in place. I think Clarence's gun is 32", I have a 34" 20, maybe the only one, I don't know. Clarence has been hounding me to sell for years.

Bill, he won’t leave you alone until it’s his.
He did that to me on a 95+% GH a few years back. He got the gun but I got the better deal.

About fifty years ago, I was at a gun show in Lancaster, PA, found a DHE 20 gauge, 32" vent rib wonder gun. It was underpriced, but I couldn't pay for it, so I looked around for someone to take the bait. I found Clarence and told him about the gun. I never stuck around to see whether he bought it or not. Maybe he owes me one.
