Seem to remember some previous threads with this problem with some suggestions. try the search engine. IF my recollection serves me the next step may involve checking to see if the rod (unhooking pin part 26 on the technical chart) that comes out the front of the reciever and pushes against the forend is free. It should extend out from the reciever about 1/4 inch when the forend is off and you should be able to push it in with your thumb and it should spring back. If it seems stuck somebody suggested some WD 40 and let it set for a couple days to loosen up. Hoppes might work too. After that It may require removal of the trigger plate and or a trip to a good gunsmith But see if you can track down the threads where people have adressed this problem
