Whenever Precision has a shot shipping special, I order 2 bags. My mailperson got so pissed off at me, he left the mailbox door open on a snowy day and the plow truck filled the mailbox up with snow, soaking one of my letters. I just pressed it dry with my wife's iron. Now I order shot, whether I need it or not.

If you had a problem with the physical condition of the letter you should have just contacted Chuck instead of taking it onto the open forum.

Not to beat a dead horse , but Chuckles puts forth the effort . Now with that being said none of us have control over what the USPS might or might not do .

Since 2001 I’ve ordered some 30+ letters and three have been destroyed.

Not a huge deal Chuck, just stating an opinion… nobody has to agree with my opinion. It is what it is.

I've never had one destroyed, out of maybe two dozen. Spelling? That's different.

I rarely do, Chuck. Even when I do, I don't out of principle.

All he had to do was ask for a reprint. He got his letter within 1 week of his request. I think that's pretty good customer service!

I sincerely hope I haven’t insulted you Chuck. You have always provided me and everyone else with first-class research letters. I was simply stating my opinion ans making a small suggestion. Heck, if we can’t discuss things like gentlemen then what, after all, do we have as a community of members who only want the best this society has to offer?

No Dean, you didn't insult me and I'm not upset with Mr, Comer. I just wished he would have contacted me with his comments instead of putting it on the forum. I'd be happy to send him a reprint if he requests one.
