What is the "typical" restrictions of the 26" repro 12 gauge Q1/Q2 barrels?

Dan,
I always thought typical was R-.003", L-.006".
I just measured my 12 Q1/Q2 Repro and it measured .003" in both barrels.

Bob, is your gun stamped Q1/Q2 and are you the original owner? The reason I ask is that several years ago I was offered a 12ga. 26” DHE Repro that was factory stamped Q1/Q1 from a seller that was living in PA. It’s a small world we travel in, stranger things have happened, you never know.

I assume your gun and Dan's inquiry have 26" barrels. I've asked several times on this forum if anyone knows or have heard of any 12ga. Repros w/28" bbls. factory choked Q1/Q2. Nobody has ever replied in the affirmative.

Thanks Bob. I know I measured 28 gauge, 26” barrels marked Q1/Q2 at .003 and .007. That corresponds to SKI and SKTII in the Parker chart I have. I was hoping that the 12 gauge barrels would be choked closer to the chart for 12 gauge SK1/SkII or .005/.012. It turns out to be a moot point for now as I called on the barrels and they are sold.

The 28 ga. Parker Repro I owned briefly was marked Q1& Q2 and measured .003 and .006 constrictions if I remember correctly.

Dan,
The chokes of .005/.012" are in the 12 GA Repro barrels Marked IC/MOD.

Bob, The only 12 gauge repro I have is a SSS and it’s 28” barrels marked IC/Mod measure .735/.726 (.009) and .735/.721. (.014). I’m not sure I’ll ever carry it in the field but thought 26” barrels might be a hair lighter and for my bird hunting over pointing dogs, a little less choke wouldn’t hurt either.
