2 on the bottom of the barrel lug indicates the frame size of the gun --

the center to center spacing of the firing pins 1
2/16-inch.
The
2 above the serial number on the watertable of the frame is the Grade of the gun --

2 beneath the serial number on the forearm iron indicates it is the forearm for and number 2 set of barrels.

The number 2 set of barrels should have a numeral
2 stamped on the bottom of the forearm loop like this gun --
