Better go easy on the sage! After we cooked a couple of these babies up for dinner (nothing but a little salt and pepper rub with light oil), I could still taste the sage 3 months later!! Wilsall, Montana 49 years ago. Rancher Dwayne Vincent (R) and yours truly with a limit of Sage grouse which at the time was 6 birds. Gun is a 30-inch Remington 870 VR 3-inch Magnum bored IMP MOD. From my pre-SxS "Single Barrel Archives." The landscape always reminded me of Remington's painting,"Before the Plow".
