This is an Oxford or Hufnagel variant called Ferlacher Rosen



It's almost impossible to 'read' the ribbands as a weld line is down the middle of each scroll (each scroll being two halves of adjacent rods.)
BUT as you can see on Jeff's barrels, the scroll where the edge of the ribband is 'jumped' (overlapped) and hammer welded is 1/2 the size of the full scrolls - so you look for two full scrolls in between two 1/2 scrolls = 3 iron
AND the size of the scrolls (depending on the pattern) helps i.e. 4 Iron scrolls are smaller than 2 Iron scrolls, but Turkish scrolls are smaller than Oxford scrolls, unless it's Super-Oxford
