Another sweet-looking Trojan. Love it!

Very nice! I wish there were more months in the year (but only if there was Fall and hunting seasons in them).

Does that Trojan have a double recoil pad or buttplate? Perhaps it's a shadow or ...?

I bought the gun just over 40 years ago from a gunsmith in my hometown, Victor Strawbridge, the factory butt plate was broken. (Victor is turning 88 this year and still sharp as a tack.) I elected to have him install a black Old English pad made for rifles. I think he may have put a black spacer ahead of it, it's been too long to remember. It's been on the gun since I shot my first duck with it and unless it becomes damaged it will stay there, one because the gun fits me and two because I am a sentimental sap.
