This is the same gun as the Dickinson. They are high quality pieces. Some things about them are actually nicer than the Dickinson, for example, the wooden-buttplate screws on a Dickinson are Phillips head, and just looked totally out of place to me. I knew that the S & W Elite had nicer screws so I called S & W and a very helpful fellow looked around and found a set of slotted, engraved screws for me. I replaced them and they were perfect.

I ordered my Dickinson made to my specs (.410, 30" barrels, longer LOP, and a bit more drop than normal). It's been a gem for me.
