O.K. Edgar you win, even though I am not sure what you would do if the gun was given to you by a close friend. In my case I would mount it securely on my outhouse wall on full display for all to see and then take 5 $100 bills and go to the local gun show to procure a serviceable 12 ga. Trojan.
