What are these numbers
Any idea what this DF 1279 stand for. It seems a different set on number punch was used compared to the ser # set. That DF number had to be done much later. Maybe by Remington??

Angel, I've never seen anything like that from Parker Bros. or Remington.
My guess is a previous owner's personal identification code.
