Hi Roundsworth,

Very tricky indeed. Soaked the whole lock assembly in aerokroil for a couple of
days. I ended up using two small plastic tapered scrapers and "worried" the hammer off. Actually I used the tapers like little wedges between the hammer and the lock plate, working them around as evenly as possible and slowly the hammer moved up the square shaft until free.
The parts are cleaning up nicely.

Did you attempt the procedure I outlined in your other post? As long as you got your hammer off without any collateral damage, you're good to go!

I hadn't seen your post on the other thread.
Sounds like a good procedure.
