Those barrel flats are very interesting. It has all the usual late Remington era stampings -- PARKER GUN WORKS OVERLOAD PROVED -- the serial number -- MADE IN U.S.A. -- IMP MOD & FULL choke markings -- three Remington repair codes LK3 (L = Feb K = 1941) PSS3 (P = Jun SS = 1947) DSS3 (D = Sep SS = 1947) -- the sun and large N Remington inspector's stamps. The flats also show the stamps that would have been normal when 213539 was made in 1925, the J.G in an oval, T in a circle and HT over A. "Normal" 1925 vintage barrel flats --
