VH 20ga ruptured barrel. Parts gun?

I have had extra sets of barrels fitted and the biggest key I found was that the barrels and receiver need to come from the same era. If not, there is too much difference in the lugs to be fitted to the receiver. A couple of years ago there was an article in the Parker magazine about it.
